The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed defensive lineman Justin Jefferson on Monday.
Justin Jefferson is five foot eleven and weighs 234 pounds. A native of Chicago, Illinois, Jefferson made 36 tackles (10 solos, 26 assists), 4.5 tackles for loss, four sacks, one forced fumble, and one blocked punt in 12 games for the Eagles.
Jefferson was a nominee for the 2024 Burlsworth Trophy, which is given annually to the most outstanding FBS college football player who began his career as a walk-on.
Collegiately, Jefferson played four seasons at Eastern Michigan (2021-24) making 121 tackles (41 solos, 80 assists), 12.5 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, two pass breakups, one forced fumble, three fumble recoveries, and one punt blocked in 48 games for the Eagles.
